The 2016 Conference on Pen and Touch Technology in Education (CPTTE - formerly WIPTTE) seeks papers that report on the impact of pen and touch interfaces across education settings, including both formal and informal learning environments. CPTTE 2016 will take place on March 31 - April 2, 2016 at Brown University in Providence, RI, USA.  CPTTE is an independent research conference whose past sponsors have included Intel, Toshiba, Fujitsu, DyKnow, PDF Annotator, Wacom, and last year’s host Microsoft. In addition to original research papers, CPTTE will feature hands-on You-Try-It sessions, keynotes, and posters. Revised proceedings papers have been published (and for 2015 are contracted for publication) as books. Relevant work recently published elsewhere can also be submitted for presentation, although it will not appear in published proceedings.

In the past few years, pen and touch enabled tablet computers have been changing the face of education. Since 2006, this event has contributed to the revolution by bringing together educators and students, researchers, developers, manufacturers and decision makers to consider the current and coming state of the art. The Workshop on the Impact of Pen and Touch Technologies in Education has been unique in enabling this diverse group to interact and share research, experiences tools, lessons learned and ideas for future directions. The event has grown from a small workshop to a conference with a published proceedings covering research and practice; to reflect this, the name has been changed to the Conference on Pen and Touch Technology in Education.

Join us at Brown University in Providence, RI for the tenth annual Pen and Touch Technology in Education conference, CPTTE 2016, March 31 - April 2, 2016.
